Bluebird car – DC50 electric

The British manufacturer of the record-breaking cars – Bluebird is planning a production of a radical EV sports car . The 50 Bluebird DC50 electric vehicle was created to mark the glorious records achieved by brand`s cars 50 years ago.

The unique edition will be produced in a limited run of only fifty units. The electric Bluebird car is finished in an attractive blue paint. The striking design of the electric super vehicle is accentuated by an electric power scissor doors.

The Bluebird DC50 road car is powered by a 360-horsepower electric powertrain with 200 miles of range.

The British car brand created another exclusive model in an electric race car segment – the Bluebird GTL Formula E. The car complies with the technical regulations for the FIA Formula E series and is based on cutting-edge technology.

Minerva supercar concept

The Belgium company Minerva JM Brabazon has created a high-performance supercar concept. The all-wheel drive Minerva vehicle is powered by a hybrid powertrain combining a mid-mounted twin-turbocharged V12 engine and two electric motors. The powerplant is mated to a six-speed sequential F1 gearbox. The driver is able to choose between five modes (Economy, Normal, Sport, Race and Safe).

The supercar sprints with a top speed of 250 mph (400 km/h). The carbon fiber monocoque and and Kevlar-carbon bodywork also makes the car very quick.

The design of the Minerva JM Brabazon is inspired by iconic European supercars such as McLaren P1, Audi R8 and Artega GT.

In fact, the Minerva is the first brand car featuring a modern and innovative design. JM Brabazon company is one of the oldest in the automotive industry. It was founded in 1897. The brand was killed in mid-50`s after 50,000 cars being produced.

Vencer Sarthe Supercar

The final production version of the Dutch supercar Vencer Sarthe is confirmed. The premiere of the vehicle is planned to be at the prestigious Salon Privé show. The prototype of the Vencer Sarthe was revealed at Monaco auto soloon.

Many design features of the handmade sports car have been inspired by McLaren F1 and sports cars from the “80. The 2-seater car features a lightweight,  strong and rigid chassis. It has a hybrid space frame made out of high grade tubular steel, with chrome-molybdenum safety structure and rear sub-frame. The floor of the supercar has an aluminium honeycomb structure.

Dutch engineers have achieved a light weight and impressive safety by using carbon panels.

Vencer Sarthe

Engine and power

The Dutch supercar is powered by a mid-mounted V8 engine pumping out 510 hp and 480 lb-ft of torque at 4,700 rpm. The Sarthe sprints to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 202.5 mph. The engine is matched to a 6-speed transaxle gearbox. The Vencer Sarthe has a weight distribution balance of 45% front and 55% at the rear.


The luxurious ambience inside the car have been achieved by using high-end technology and cutting-edge styling. The main interior highlights are: leather sports seats, LCD screen in the middle of the dashboard, electric windows, in-car entertainment, and central locking.

The Duch manufacturer plans to produce the Vencer Sarthe car in a very limited number.

Leblanc Mirabeau concept

Leblanc Mirabeau concept is inspired of the spirit of race. The supercar complies all FIA/Le Mans standards but can be also driven on public roads. Mirabeau concept name was named after a Monte Carlo Formula 1 circuit.

This is the second supercar created by the Swiss company Wysstec. Leblanc Caroline is a Mirabeau concept predecessor. The first concept was powered by a 2.0 litre four cylinder engine with 512 bhp (381.8 kilowatts). The power combined with a surprisingly lightweight construction of just 785 kg made the vehicle one of the quickest road supercars. The exotic vehicle accelerated from 0 to 100kmh in only 2.7 seconds.

The Leblanc Mirabeau is made out of Kevlar, carbon fibre, and ultra-light components. It weighs just 812 kg. The Swiss concept uses Koenigsegg CCR`engine. The mighty powerplant is a 4.7 litres aluminium V8 with four valves per cylinder, and double overhead camshafts. The engine delivers 806 bhp at 6,900 rpm and maximum torque of 920 Nm (678 ftlb) at 5,700 rpm. The powertrain is mated to a six speed sequential Cima gearbox.

Aussie Spartan supercar

The Australian car Aussie Spartan targets the supercars segment. It features a light construction weighting only 500kg. The Sidney-based manufacturer has used a mixture of carbon fibre and alloy in this two-seater.

2013 Arrinera Supercar

The 2013 Arrinera supercar is a British-Polish project, which is trying to compete the other players in supercar segment. The vehicle is developed thanks to the support of the famous designer and automobile engineer Lee Noble. He did all his best to achieve impressive driving parameters, striking design and performance of the concept. The Arrinera Automotive S.A. is planning to build 600-700 cars a year.

2013 Arrinera Supercar Design

The Arrinera supercar features sharp and dynamic lines of the exterior. The designer of the car is Pavlo Burkatskyy.  The aerodynamic proportions are emphasized by the fact that the front of the car is close to the ground. The cabin is moved forwards and the door line rises significantly. The lightweight construction maximize the output of the engine.
The steel chassis is designed by Lee Noble. It features high-strength, lightness and high deformation resistance. The athletic appearance of the concept car are the 19-inch light-alloy wheels with 255/35 R19 tyres (front) and 335/30 R19 (rear).

The interior of the Arrinera supercar combines fine genuine leather and composite materials. Another highlights are an audio system, electric windows and mirrors, and air conditioning. As an option, the car can be equipped with a thermal vision camera detects objects with a temperature exceeding the ambient temperature.

The heart of the British-Polish supercar is an 8-cylinder 6.2-litre engine with a maximum power of 650HP and 820 Nm torque. The auto designer Lee Noble has developed an independent, multi-link suspension.

Fornasari Gigi GT 311

The Italian custom car builder Fornasari was revealed its vintage-inspired model Gigi GT 311 at the Geneva Motor show.

The Gigi Grand Tourer will be powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine boasting up to 600 hp. The sports car could sprint from 0 to 100km/h in 3.5 seconds with a top speed of over 200mph.

The car is retro-inspired. This piece of art looks like an iconic Aston Martin or Ford.

This unique car will be priced at $290,000.

George Barris sold his1966 Batmobile

The one-of a kind supercar from the ‘Batman’ TV series of the 1960s – 1966 Batmobile, was sold at the 2013 Barrett-Jackson car auction for an unbelievable price of $4,620,000.

The owner and designer of the exotic vehicle is the custom car builder George Barris.

He is a legend in the world of television and motion pictures. His private collection of cars includes famed TV vehicles from Starsky & Hutch movie, Torino Green Hornet and Monkee Mobile.

In fact, Barris`s most famous creation is the 1966 Batmobile. The the black and orange supercar was created in just two weeks. The crew took an inspiration from a Lincoln Futura show car.

This is the first time the futuristic concept car has ever been offered for sale. The owner explained his decision emotionally: “I just feel like it’s time to let other people share it.”

Mastretta MXT-R

The Mexican supercar builder has developed a race vehicle Mastretta MXT-R. The car has been showed at the Autosport International Racing Car Show.

The Mexican racer will be powered by a 2.0-liter Ecoboost four-cylinder engine coming from Ford Focus ST. The powertrain is capable of 285 hp.
