Bugatti Veyron Vitesse is the base of a new exclusive brand model which is a part of the celebratory lineup “Les Legendes de Bugatti”. The special edition is one of the six modifications of the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. The fast and expensive car was presented at the Dubai International Motor Show.
What differs this Legend car from the others? This variation of Bugatti Veyron Vitesse is dedicated to a famous driver Bartolomeo (Meo) Costantini. He was part of the brand race team. Meo was a friend of Ettore Bugatti.
The special Bugatti Veyron Vitesse is powered by a 8-liter W16 engine pumping out 1,200 hp at 3,000-5,000 rpm and 1,500 Nm of torque. The car sprints from 0-62 mph (0-100 km) in 2.6 seconds.
The Bugatti Veyron “Meo Costantini” is one of the most expensive cars with a price tag of $2,8 million (€2. Million). It is a collectible since the Bugatti factory will produce only three units.
As the other editions, the Bugatti “Meo Costantini” is made out of carbon fiber finished in “French blue” named “Bugatti Dark Blue Sport”. Some parts of the exterior such as doors, wings and front bumpers are made of hand-polished clear-coated aluminum.
One of the major design highlights is the image of the of the Targa Florio race course on the rear wing of the Bugatti Veyron Vitesse. This silhouette reminds of legendary victories of the Bugatti race team headed by Meo Costantini. The driver`s signature is laser-engraved into the aluminum tank and oil caps.
The leather interior is wrapped in fine leather featuring an exclusive cognac shade. This leather covers roof, part of the seats and rear wall. It contrasts with panels upholstered in dark blue leather. This striking combination is accentuated by light blue stitching. The signature of the driver is embroidered on some of the interior details. Many of his glorious racing moments are illustrated on some elements of the interior.
About Bartolomeo Costantini
Bartolomeo (Meo) Costantini was a member of the racing team of Bugatti company for eight years in the period after First World War. The first race car he drove was Bugatti Type 13. Then he won victories with the legendary Bugatti Type 35.
One of the most expensive cars ever built – the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse now has a super exclusive edition named after brand founder`s brother and famous sculptor – Rembrandt Bugatti. This is the fourth model in the special lineup “The legend of Bugatti” (Les Legendes de Bugatti).
Last year the French auto builder unveiled three of the six special editions dedicated to persons who were very important for the Bugatti success through the years.
After Bugatti Jean-Pierre Wimille, Bugatti Jean Bugatti and Bugatti Meo Costantini, the Rembrandt edition has been presented at the Geneva International Motor Show.
Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse Rembrandt Performance
The fourth Bugatti legend is based on the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse. It uses the same 8 litre W16 engine. This supercar accelerates from 0–60 mph in 2.6 seconds. The fastest production roadster sprints with a maximum speed of 408.84 km/h.
Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse Rembrandt Design
The Bugatti Vitesse Rembrandt supercar features exterior panels made out of bronze finished clear-coated carbon fiber. The bottom part and wheels is colored in elegant light brown (Noix). Platinum finish covers the front grille, and the EB icon at the rear. The Rembrandt signature can be found onto the oil cap.
The cabin is wrapped in fine light brown leather. The famous Rembrandt’s sculpture of an elephant, which is a brand symbol, can be seen on the box between the seats. The Cognac-colored interior contrasts with platinum logo on the steering wheel and bronze clear-coated carbon on the center console.
The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse Rembrandt price is $3 million (€2.18 million). The French supercar manufacturer will build only three Rembrandt cars. All nine Bugatti Legends hypercars presented last year were sold.

Bugatti car brand presented a special edition Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse dedicated to the legendary test driver Jean Bugatti and his vehicle Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic La Voiture Noire(The Black Car). In fact, Jean was the designer of this iconic Bugatti coupe. The 57SC Atlantic is one of the most expensive vintage cars. There are only four examples produced. One of them was driven by Jean Bugatti himself but it do not exist anymore since it was lost after WW2.
The premiere of the celebratory Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse car was at Frankfurt Motor Show. Jean Bugatti was a son of the founder of the company Ettore Bugatti.

The clear-coated carbon fiber exterior of the Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse “Jean Bugatti” is painted in black including black diamond-cut rims. The most exceptional design feature of this Bugatti is the use of platinum on the grille and brand logos. It is the first time Bugatti is using this extremely expensive material for first time on the exterior of brand cars.
The unique appearance of the Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse “Jean Bugatti” is highlighted by a pair of five-spoke wheels.
The leather interior is finished in contrasting brown and beige combination.

The impressive work of art is based on the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse. It is powered by an 8-litre W16 engine pumping out 1,200 PS and 1,500 Nm torque at 3,000 to 5,000 rpm. The Grand Sport Vitesse accelerates from ) to 62 mph (0 to 100 km/h) in 2.6 seconds.
Only three examples of the Jean Bugatti Legend car are available. Each is priced at $3 million (2.3 million euros). This is the second car in the Bugatti legend lineup (“Les Légendes de Bugatti”). The series consists of 6 models. Each of them takes an inspiration from the iconic Bugatti test drivers.
The two-coloured Bugatti Veyron Centenaire Edition was one of the attractions presented by Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. at Villa d’Este Concorso d’Eleganza event.
