The iconic British car builder claims that its latest Aston Martin CC100 concept is an unique and visionary car. The sports car concept has been developed to commemorate company`s 100 birthday. The name CC100 reflects the glorious heritage of the Aston Martin`s history.
The Aston Martin CC100 concept is inspired by the legendary DBR1 car which was a winner in 1959 Le Mans and Nürburgring circuits. The car design combines classic shape and elegance, high-end engineering and cutting-edge technology.
The speedster concept was created by brand GT race program in less than six months. It was revealed at the ADAC Zurich 24 Hours of Nürburgring race.
Aston Martin CC100 Exterior
The CC100 racer features an open cockpit styled with flowing curves and aerodynamic shape. British engineers have used a lightweight carbon fibre to provide structural rigidity. The car is 4,5 m long and more than 2 metres wide.
Aston Martin CC100 Interior
The speedster is fitted with two racing seats wrapped in Bridge of Weir leather. Driver can use a glass control buttons as well as glass ECU starter.
Aston Martin CC100 Engine and performance
The Aston Martin CC100 is powered by a naturally aspirated V12 engine. The car accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in a 4 seconds with a top speed limited to 180 mph. The powertrain is coupled with a six-speed hydraulically actuated automated sequential manual transmission and steering column-mounted paddle shifts.
