The Lamborghini`s flagship received a special livery for the Indian car market – Lamborghini Gallardo India. The Gallardo LP550-2 India Limited Edition was presented by regional brand representative Pavan Shetty.
The exclusively designed Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 India Limited Edition is powered by a 5.2-litre V10 engine capable of pumping out 540hp and 540Nm of torque. The Lamborghini edition for India sprints to 100km/h in 3.9 second with a maximum speed of 320kmph.
Indian buyers of the special Gallardo LP550-2 will enjoy a black interior. There are contrasting green stitching on the driver’s seat, while the passenger seat has an orange decoration. White accents adorn the doors and central console.
Only six Indian citizens will be able to by a Lamborghini India Gallardo LP550-2 Limited Edition. The lucky owners will be able to choose between three exterior colours: white, pearl green and pearl orange. These finishes are inspired by the colours of the Indian national flag. The same tricolor theme runs the car`s length.
The special Lamborghini India Gallardo marks the 50th anniversary of the iconic Italian brand.
There are 90 Indian owners of Lamborghini supercars. Most of the purchases were made in 2011 and 2012. Supercars companies are planning to sell in India at least 100 hyper vehicles annually.
Lamborghini cars successful story become 50 years ago. The founder Feruccio Lamborghini was an entrepreneur and car enthusiast. He owned some of the iconic Italian supercars such as Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, and Maserati.
In Lamborghini`s exotic car business there were some models that quickly changed the industry and become classics — starting with the 350 GTV prototype.
In 1966 Lamborghini launched the Miura. It was the first brand supercar named for fighting bull. This model was replaced by the Countach. This car was a real sensation with its upward-opening scissor doors. The heart of the Lamborghini Countach was a powerful V-12 engine.
Another exotic creation was Jalpa, as well as 1986 Lamborghini LM002. They were followed by Diablo, that was in production till the 1990s.
The Diablo`s replacement was named Murciélago. The Lamborghini Gallardo was the first to feature a modern design language. Then the Italian supercars company launched the Lamborghini Reventón, the Aventador , the Estoque, and the Veneno.

Dallas Performance LLC has presented one of their crazy project – a twin turbocharged Lamborghini Gallardo boasting 1200hp. The makeover was ordered by Lamborghini owner that wanted more power. The US tuner offers a standard package that provides 650whp with 93 Octane Fuel and 800+ whp with E85 or VP C16 Race Fuel.
The driver of the 2004 Gallardo wanted an 300whp extra, so Dallas-based company added a Stage 2 performance kit, including a twin turbo system with forged engine internals.
2004 Lamborghini Gallardo was designed in cooperation between Italdesign Giugiaro and Lamborghini’s expert Luc Donckerwolcke. The two-seater features distinctive appearance and brutal power coming from a V10 engine. In 2004 Lamborghini said it would build 1300 Gallardos a year.
Celebrities at Cannes Film Festival obviously prefer Lamborghini style. VIP guests such as Ronan Keating, Benicio Del Toro, Emir Kusturica, Shia LaBoeuf, James Wang, Isabella Ferrari, Brandon Cronenberg, John Boorman, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Laura Michelle Kelly, Jim Kerry came to the event with a Lamborghini supercars.
