Jaguar Project 7 concept sports car

The Jaguar Project 7 concept sports car is a single-seater based on the latest brand masterpiece 2014 Jaguar F-TYPE. The high performance roadster had its premiere at the prestigious Goodwood Festival of Speed. The name of this car commemorates brand`s seven victories between 1951-1990 at the 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit.

The Jaguar racer is powered by a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine mated to an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. The powertrain of the Jaguar Project 7 generates 550-horsepower. The unique car accelerates from o to 60mph in 4.1 seconds with a top speed of 186mph. The performance package includes a free-flow exhaust system and a calibrated spring and damper tune.

The aerodynamic modifications include carbon-fiber components such as front air splitter, side skirts, large rear diffuser,  fixed rear spoiler, side louvers and bonnet, and last but not least carbon-fiber and aluminum mirrors.

The design of the one-off Jaguar Project 7 is inspired by classical racing cars. Jaguar engineers combined a high performance and exceptional styling captured in a breathtaking sports car. The one seat Jaguar is based on an all-aluminum architecture.

The Jaguar roadster is finished in an D-T ype-inspired Blue colour . The Jaguar Project 7 is fitted with 20-inch forged-alloy wheels.
The cabin is individualized by composite bucket seat which is lower than the F-Type passenger seats. The interior features carbon-fiber trims.

The Jaguar XKR-S GT sports car will be built in a limited run of only 30 units. The engineers in Jaguar’s ETO division have developed a unique aerodynamic package and suspension for the latest Jag.

The XKR-S GT comes with significant modifications such as carbon-fibre front splitter, dive planes, extended wheel arch spats, an elevated rear wing, and a rear diffuser.

The new front and rear suspension feature an increased camber, redesigned bushings, a steering system and faster steering ratio. The Jaguar XKR-S GT gets a
brake system with six and four-piston monoblock calipers combuned with 398mm and 380mm discs.

The appearance of the sports Jaguar car is accentuated by a lightweight 20-inch forged wheels. The car is painted in a Polaris White colour.

The Jaguar XKR-S GT is powered by a 5.0 litre supercharged V8 engine producing 550hp. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 186mph.

The interior is styled in Warm Charcoal with red trims. Occupants are able to enjoy electrically adjustable performance seats.

Jaguar has developed an Instinctive All Wheel Drive system for clients who have to deal with snowy and icy roads. The innovative technology improves the performance abilities of Jag sedans. The auto manufacturer fitted its models XF and XJ models with a Jaguar AWD system.

The system helps brand`s vehicles to compete against the Mercedes-Benz 4Matic, BMW xDrive and Audi Quattro. The automaker expects 80 percent of XF sales in North America to be AWD variations.

The Instinctive All Wheel Drive system works as full rear-wheel drive in good weather and can split engine power 50:50 between front and rear axles using a center transfer case on snow- and ice-covered roads.

The Jaguar AWD system will be fitted to XJ, XF, regular and long-wheelbase XJL models and future Jaguar model.
