The Lamborghini Veneno is based on the Aventador and Sesto Elemento flagships but the latest Lambo supercar features a completely different carbon fiber body. It is powered by a 6.5-liter V12 engine that pumps out 740 horsepower. The powertrain is coupled with a seven-speed single-clutch transmission. The Veneno’s maximum speed is 220 miles per hour.
The name of the car means “poison” in Spanish.
This Lamborghini supercar marks the brand’s 50th anniversary. Only three units of this exclusive hypercar will be built. The Veneno model is priced at $4.6 million (£3.1 million) and before its live premiere, all available supercars have been already sold. The colour scheme is inspired by the Italian flag – green, white or red.
