Ford Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca

The limited-production Ford Mustang Boss 302 is a street-legal race car. It is inspired by the legendary Boss 302 that entered 1970 Trans-Am series. The special edition targets the racing fans. The car debuted at the 2012 Rolex Historic Races at Laguna Seca.

The Laguna Seca tuning kit is driver-oriented. Ford Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca is fitted with redesigned chassis and an impressive aerodynamics package taken from the Ford Racing Boss 302R. It includes a deep front air dam and a rear spoiler.

The interior of this Ford muscle car has an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel, metallic dash and door panels, and a black shift knob. As an option. buyers can get a Recaro front bucket seats.

The heart of the Boss 302 is a 5.0-liter engine boasting 440 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque. The powertrain features new intake runners, camshafts, and engine controls. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission and a quad exhaust system. The sports car reaches a top speed of a 155-mph. It accelerates from 0 to to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds.

The GT suspension is modified with stiffer springs and bushings, adjustable shocks, and a thicker rear anti-roll bar. The electric steering system has three modes – Comfort, Normal, and Sport.

The striking appearance of Ford Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca is accentuated by black-finished wheels measuring 19 x 9 inches in front and 19 x 9.5 at the rear, as well as 255/40 front and 285/35 rear Pirelli PZero tires.
