The Maranello-based automaker in cooperation with a design house Pininfarina developed a performance-oriented Ferrari 458 Speciale . The premiere of the exceptional car was held at Frankfurt Auto show.

The new member of the Prancing Horse range is equipped with a naturally aspirated V8 ever (605 cv) engine. Ferrari engineers claim it is the most powerful powertrain with the highest specific output of 135 cv/l. The super vehicle accelerates from 0-62 mph (0 to 100 km/h) in a 3 seconds. The 458 Speciale hits the 0-200 km/h time in 9.1 seconds.

The special Ferrari car was designed to fit aerodynamic requirements. It is based on the Ferrari 458 Italia. but many of its exterior elements had been changed in order to reduce weight. Ferrari 458 Speciale features a number of innovative technological decisions. Amongst them are Side Slip angle Control system. The car wears special Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2 tyres.
The cabin features a racing-inspired design. The sports spirit of the cat is accentuated by fluidly shaped door panels, carbon-fibre and aluminium elements.
