The name of the futuristic concept Chevrolet Miray means ‘future’ in Korean. The mid-electric hybrid sports car reveals the trends of brand`s design language next years.
The Miray was built to mark Chevrolet’s 100 anniversary.
The Chevy concept is powered by a powertrain consisting of two front-mounted 20 hp electric motors, teamed with a 1.5 liter four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. The cutting-edge hybrid powertrain technology includes a 1.6 kWh lithium-ion battery that could be recharged through regenerative braking. The car runs on electric power alone.
The Chevrolet Miray is based on the stunning 1963 Monza SS and the 1962 Corvair Super Spyder. The exterior is dominated by a bold dual-port front grille, carbon panels, scissor doors, LED headlamps and aluminum 20 inch wheels at the front and 21-inchers at the rear.
