Bugatti Veyron Vitesse is the base of a new exclusive brand model which is a part of the celebratory lineup “Les Legendes de Bugatti”. The special edition is one of the six modifications of the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. The fast and expensive car was presented at the Dubai International Motor Show.
What differs this Legend car from the others? This variation of Bugatti Veyron Vitesse is dedicated to a famous driver Bartolomeo (Meo) Costantini. He was part of the brand race team. Meo was a friend of Ettore Bugatti.
The special Bugatti Veyron Vitesse is powered by a 8-liter W16 engine pumping out 1,200 hp at 3,000-5,000 rpm and 1,500 Nm of torque. The car sprints from 0-62 mph (0-100 km) in 2.6 seconds.
The Bugatti Veyron “Meo Costantini” is one of the most expensive cars with a price tag of $2,8 million (€2. Million). It is a collectible since the Bugatti factory will produce only three units.
As the other editions, the Bugatti “Meo Costantini” is made out of carbon fiber finished in “French blue” named “Bugatti Dark Blue Sport”. Some parts of the exterior such as doors, wings and front bumpers are made of hand-polished clear-coated aluminum.
One of the major design highlights is the image of the of the Targa Florio race course on the rear wing of the Bugatti Veyron Vitesse. This silhouette reminds of legendary victories of the Bugatti race team headed by Meo Costantini. The driver`s signature is laser-engraved into the aluminum tank and oil caps.
The leather interior is wrapped in fine leather featuring an exclusive cognac shade. This leather covers roof, part of the seats and rear wall. It contrasts with panels upholstered in dark blue leather. This striking combination is accentuated by light blue stitching. The signature of the driver is embroidered on some of the interior details. Many of his glorious racing moments are illustrated on some elements of the interior.
